Privacy Policy

1. Information Handled by the App

Information stored only on your device

The App may store favorites, download history, editing preferences, app settings, and your AI data-sharing consent on your device. We do not transmit this information to our servers. You can clear supported local data from Settings, and uninstalling the App removes its local data.

AI wallpaper prompts

If you choose to use AI wallpaper generation and provide consent, the text prompt you enter, together with generation settings needed to fulfill the request, is sent to Pollinations.ai. The prompt is used to generate the image you requested. The App does not require an account and does not intentionally attach your name, email address, advertising identifier, or an app-specific user profile to the prompt.

Please do not include personal, confidential, or sensitive information in an AI prompt. Pollinations.ai states that prompts and outputs are processed to provide the service and may be held in short-lived caches; generated response caches are typically retained for up to 30 days. Its current practices are described in the Pollinations.ai Privacy Policy.

You can withdraw consent for future AI prompt sharing at any time under More → Settings → AI Data Sharing. Withdrawing consent does not affect processing that occurred before withdrawal.

Push notification device token

If you allow notifications, Apple provides the App with an app-specific push notification token. The App sends this token to our backend at xpcrun.com so that notifications can be delivered to your device. We use it only for notification delivery and related service operation, not for advertising or cross-app tracking.

Photos

The App requests Photos access only when you choose a feature that needs it. Add-only access is used to save a downloaded or generated wallpaper. If you choose an image with Apple’s system photo picker, the selected image is processed on your device. The App does not upload your photo-library contents or selected images to our servers or to the AI generation service.

Subscriptions

Subscriptions and purchase restoration are handled by Apple through StoreKit and the App Store. The App reads entitlement information needed to unlock paid features. We do not receive or store your payment card information.

Network and service information

When the App connects to our backend, content-delivery network, Apple services, or Pollinations.ai, those services necessarily receive technical network information such as your IP address, request date and time, requested resource, response status, and basic device or user-agent information. This information may be processed to deliver content, generate images, maintain reliability, prevent abuse, and protect service security.

2. How We Use Information

We use the information described above only as needed to:

• deliver wallpaper catalog content and requested AI-generated images;
• save wallpapers when you request it;
• deliver optional push notifications;
• verify subscription entitlements and restore purchases;
• maintain service reliability, security, and abuse prevention; and
• respond to support, privacy, or legal requests.

3. Service Providers and Disclosure

We do not sell personal information and the current version of the App does not use information for cross-app tracking. We use the following providers to operate App features:

• Apple: StoreKit and the App Store for subscriptions, Apple Push Notification service for optional notifications, and Photos frameworks for user-requested photo access.
• Pollinations.ai: text-to-image generation when you consent and request an AI wallpaper.
• Amazon CloudFront: delivery of some wallpaper assets.
• xpcrun.com: our backend for wallpaper catalog data, content delivery, and push notification token registration.

Providers may process information on our behalf or as independent providers under their own terms and privacy policies. We may also disclose information when required by law or when reasonably necessary to protect users, our rights, or service security.

4. Advertising, Analytics, and Tracking

The current version of the App does not integrate Google AdMob, Firebase Analytics, AppsFlyer, or another third-party advertising or analytics SDK. It does not access the Advertising Identifier (IDFA), does not display third-party advertising, and does not track you across apps or websites owned by other companies.

If these practices change in a future version, we will update this policy and the App Store privacy disclosures before that version is released, and request any permission required by law or Apple policy.

5. Data Retention

• Local app data: remains on your device until you clear it where supported or uninstall the App.
• AI prompts and generated output: are not intentionally stored on our own backend. Pollinations.ai may retain short-lived generated-response caches, typically for up to 30 days, as described in its privacy policy.
• Push notification tokens: are retained while needed to provide notifications, until the token becomes invalid, or until we process a valid deletion request.
• Operational logs: may be retained by our infrastructure providers only for as long as reasonably necessary for delivery, reliability, security, abuse prevention, and legal obligations.

6. Your Choices and Rights

• Use the App without an account.
• Decline or withdraw AI data-sharing consent; AI generation will remain unavailable until you consent again.
• Allow or deny Photos and notification permissions, and change them later in iOS Settings.
• Manage or cancel subscriptions in your Apple ID subscription settings.
• Request access, correction, or deletion of personal information we control, subject to applicable law.

Because the App has no user account, include relevant details with a privacy request, such as the device and approximate date involved. We may need reasonable information to locate and verify the requested record.

7. Children's Privacy

The App is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us so we can review and delete it where appropriate.

8. Security and International Processing

We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards designed to protect information. No transmission or storage system is completely secure. Service providers may process information in countries other than your own, subject to their safeguards and applicable law.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy when the App or applicable requirements change. The revised policy will be posted at this URL with a new “Last Updated” date. Material changes will be communicated through the App or another appropriate method when required.
